After an absence of four long years, for many the best Pumpkinfest-event “The Pumpkin Drop” is returning to center stage! The pumpkins will be BIGGER! The drop will be HIGHER! The venue will be EXPANDED! The music will be AWESOME! AND, the sights will be HILARIOUS!!!
Big plans are brewing for the fabulous new Pumpkin Drop:
• We will be smashing at least two huge pumpkins for your entertainment & amazement!
• From a dizzying height of over 160 feet in the air, a crane will release two brand new, freshly grown, local pumpkins!
• Over 1,000 pounds of your favorite autumn squash will reach a speed of over 60 miles per hour before it demolishes its target!
• And boy, are there going to be great targets!
Just you wait and see! It will be something your grandkids will be able to tell their grandkids sixty years from now, about when their crazy Mainer neighbors grew gargantuan pumpkins & dropped them from the sky.
